This year, we are going to work through the New City Catechism. We will use it in our time of worship, as well as for edification during the week. Each week, we will post the link to the specific catechism question and answer here on the blog. When you go to the site for the Catechism, take some time to read the Scripture and Commentary for each question and answer. It is also worth your time to watch the short video clip that accompanies each question.

What is our only hope in life and death?                                                                 

That we are not our own but belong, body and soul, both in life and death, to God and to our Savior Jesus Christ.

What is God?

God is the creator and sustainer of everyone and everything. He is eternal, infinite, and unchangeable in his power and perfection, goodness and glory, wisdom, justice, and truth. Nothing happens except through him and by his will.
